Education: Crestview High School Class of 2011; Ashland University Class of 2015.
Scholastic/Career Ambition: Obtain a bachelors degree in Digital Media Journalism with a minor in Digital Media Production. One day, I hope to become a nationally recognized news anchor.
Scholastic Honors: Top ten percent of High School Senior Class; Crestview National Honors Society Member; 1st and 2nd team all-academic; Crestview Honors student; Received Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.
Leadership Roles: Miss Ohio River 2012; Miss North Coast 2011; Miss Mansfield Outstanding Teen 2010; Former member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Team; Member of the University of Mount Union chapter of Kappa Phi; Leads Ashland University football and basketball games as an Eagle Cheerleader; Lead Mount Union football games as a member of the Radier cheerleading squad; Lead high school pep rallies as Varsity cheerleader; Represented Ashland at Miss Ohio Teen USA 2008.
Accomplishments: Received the Mina O'Guinn Memorial Award at Miss Ohio 2012; Received 2011 Americanism essay award winner at Miss Ohio 2011; Received 2009-10 "Ellison Award of Diligence" in Advanced Placement English; Received 2008-09 and 2009-10 "Most Outstanding Student" in Video Production; Raised over $500 for the Salvation Army; Awarded "Most Organized" Student of the Month; Made Varsity cheerleading squad for both football and basketball seasons as a freshman at the University of Mount Union; Received 2010-11 "Most Spirited Cheerleader" award; Received 2009-10 "Most Spirited Cheerleader" award; Received 2007-08 "Most Dedicated" and "Most Improved Cheerleader"; Received 2007-08 "Most Admirable Cheerleader", Miss Cheerleader of America.
Interesting Facts: Four of my poems are published in local poetry books. I produced a documentary for the Miss America Organization. I love strumming on my banjo and jamming on my mandolin! I played the role of the "flying monkey" in my high schools production of the Wizard of Oz. Volunteering at the Ashland Historical Society gives me joy! I volunteer at the Salvation Army Kroc Center as a member of "Kroc Crew". I volunteer at Ashland Grace Brethren Church in the nursery. I am the 5th and 6th grade Upward Cheerleading head coach! I also love to spend time in the woods with my father shooting muzzleloaders and shopping with my mother!
